Mandy Ord, Certified Pilates and Yoga Instructor
Mandy Ord is a dedicated, certified Pilates instructor with a deep passion for helping members build strength, confidence, and long-term body awareness through form-driven Reformer training. What began as her own personal transformation with Pilates quickly evolved into a mission: to create a studio where people feel supported, safe, and truly seen in their movement journey.
After completing over 500 hours of formal Pilates training and serving as a lead instructor at Club Pilates, Mandy developed a teaching style that blends precision, progressions, and clear cueing — always meeting each member at their current level while guiding them forward with intention. She specializes in:
Reformer-based strength and stability
Core activation and functional alignment
Level-appropriate progressions for safe advancement
Modifications that keep the practice accessible without losing challenge
Her approach is supportive but firm — rooted in the belief that Pilates works when it’s done with focus, proper form, and consistency. Mandy brings both expertise and empathy to every session, ensuring that members feel empowered rather than rushed into higher levels.
In addition to her Pilates mastery, Mandy holds a 200-hour Yoga certification, which enhances her ability to teach breath, grounding, and mindful movement. This blend of disciplines allows her to guide members toward balance, body awareness, and a deeper mind–body connection.
Today, as co-founder of Powerhouse Pilates in Common, Mandy continues to build a studio culture centered on progress, safety, community, and earned confidence — one class at a time.

Judy Wright
Judy has been in the fitness industry for several decades with Pilates being her preferred method of exercise. She was part of the “no pain, no gain” mentality of the 1980s and unfortunately some of the things done at that time wreaked havoc on her body. Fortunately she discovered Pilates about 20 years ago and as a result is in better physical shape than at that time. She gives credit to the gentle yet effective Pilates technique for having spared her from back surgery. She is very passionate about teaching Pilates to others as she has experienced firsthand the benefit of how the precise, controlled movements have improved her physical health. Judy has been certified in Mat Pilates since 2000 and Reformer Pilates since 2006 through Precision Pilates, which is based on Body Arts and Science International (BASI), along with having mentored in the classical style of Peak Pilates. She has also been certified through AFAA as a group exercise instructor since 1993 and personal trainer since 1998, and Balance and Mobility Specialist through Cal State Fullerton since 2014. Other certifications include Senior Fitness and Exercises for Chronic Diseases and Disabilities, as well as Rehabilitative Exercise. Work experience includes Director of Fitness at a retirement community, owner of a personal training studio, Pilates for chiropractic and Physical Therapy patients, corporate fitness classes, along with training in various gyms and Pilates studios in California, Arizona and Pennsylvania. Judy has been an avid dancer for years and enjoys being in ministry, spending time with her grandchildren and helping others remain “Forever Young” in body, soul and spirit!
Certified Pilates Instructor / Member Progress & Engagement Liasion

Although Judy has relocated, she continues to play an important part in our community as our Member Progress & Engagement Liaison. In this role, Judy reaches out to members to check in on their practice, answer questions, support their progress, and help reconnect those who haven’t visited in a while.
