What level should I start with at Powerhouse Pilates in Common?

If you are new to Pilates or new to the reformer, start with our Foundations or beginner-friendly class pack. These classes focus on form, breathing, and safety so you can move confidently before progressing to higher-level sessions.

Do I need to be in shape before starting Pilates?

Accepted Answer

No. You do not need to be in shape or flexible to start Pilates. Our beginner classes are designed to meet you where you are and build strength and mobility over time.

Do I need special socks or equipment?

Accepted Answer

We recommend grippy socks or toe socks for safety on the reformer and comfortable, fitted workout clothing. All reformer equipment is provided in the studio.
